Services & Fees
Initial Consult:
Although psychotherapy involves both a professional and business relationship, for me it it is more deeply rooted in an interpersonal relationship which, like a healthy marriage or close friendship, allows for better or worse fits. I encourage you to look for a therapist with whom you sense you’re likely to feel at home with.
Session Length: 45 minutes.
Psychotherapy: (Individuals, Couples, Family)
Frequency: Typically 1 – 2x/week. *I do not see patients less than once per week.
Session Length: 45 minutes.

Fees:
What does your fee include?
In addition to your 45-minute therapy session, your fee covers all of our routine, brief telephone consultations (I do not bill for brief phone consults, as I believe this is a normal part of the therapeutic process) and time spent managing forms and communication with your other healthcare providers (when applicable). If you are unsure whether or not a service is included in your fees, please ask!
Initial Consult Fee:
The fee for the initial consult is the same as the fee we agree on for our weekly sessions. However, if we decide not to work together, I do not charge for the consult.
Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis:
Full Fee: $300 per session or as arranged.
Pro Bono, Low-Fee, and Sliding Scale
I understand that many people seeking help are struggling in a difficult financial climate or simply cannot afford the going rate for therapy in a particular area. Although I do have pro-bono and low-fee psychotherapy and psychoanalytic patients, and do offer a sliding scale based on income, these options are limited and assessed individually for each patient based on a variety of factors. Please address this prior prior to any initial consult.
Insurance
I am not “in network” with any insurance providers. If your insurance carrier reimburses you for ” out of network providers,” I can provide you with a monthly CMS-1500 form to submit to your carrier for reimbursement.
